While holding a Certificate IV in Disability is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite for this role. We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds who are passionate about supporting and empowering others. The most important requirements for this position are up-to-date first aid certificate on and clearances from both the NDIS Worker Check and the Working with Children Check which need to be completed prior to star ng the hiring process. These credentials ensure that our team members are well-equipped to provide safe and effective support, aligning with our commitment to the highest standards of care as well as compliance with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
Worker Clearances (Both can be applied for at Service NSW at the cost of $105 each.)
NDIS Courses to be completed prior to the hiring process. (These courses can be completed online for free.)
For the First Aid, you can go with the course provider of your choice, but also needs to include the CPR module.
